I. System Description
A typical cable entry system is made up of the following parts:
1. Instert
2. 4" rubber booth with metal ring
3. Metal panel
4. Installation accessories
II. Description of Parts
1. Insert
The rubber insert is fixed into the rubber boot. Cables goes through the hole or holes in the
insert. To describe the design of an insert, the following info is to be clarified:
A. Applicable Cables: 1/2, 7/8, 11/4, 15/8, etc;
B. Number of Holes in one insert: 1, 2, 3, etc.
2. Rubber Boot
The rubber boot function to fix the inserts to the metal panel,
usually 4" dia with stainless steel rings.
3. Metal Panel
To specify a wall entry panel, the following information is to be clarified:
A. Number of 4" holes with cones for rubber boots
B. Lay out of the holes: 1 x 1, 2 x 2, 2 x 5, etc
C. Size of the metal panel
D. Details for installation to the wall
4. Installation Accessories
Customized design considering the material of the wall.
